Clancy Crowed It:
“Yolk goals start in the scoop. Sprinkle smart—brag louder.”
I completed one full bag of Egg Booster with my 25 hens. We live in NW WI and have had bouts of very cold weather, lows in the negative teens and twentys for a some of the days. Despite the cold their laying stayed steady and even increased slightly some days which I was pleasantly surprised to see. The hens liked the taste of it as I tried it in a small cup alone when a few of them to see if they would eat it as is and there was no hesitation in trying it and continuing to want to get more of it. Based on my first bag of this product I would highly recommend using it, especially when laying slows down in late fall and winter.
Have not given the supplement long enough to speak on egg production and quality but so far the birds eat it well. I will say if you want them to consume more, mix it into their daily feed instead of feeding free choice. My free range flock gets a couple bites and moves on so the bag has lasted a long time.
