Hatching Eggs and Chicks Terms of Service

Hatching Eggs

At Cluck It All Farms, we raise hardy, well-fed birds, and that starts with how our breeding stock is managed. Our flock is fed a high-quality breeder ration designed to support strong, viable hatching eggs.

Once eggs leave our farm, hatch success depends on many factors outside our control.

Hatch Rates

We do not guarantee hatch rates on shipped eggs.

Shipped eggs typically have lower hatch rates than locally sourced eggs, even under ideal incubation conditions.

Factors that affect hatch rates include:

  • Shipping damage
  • Detached or unstable air cells
  • Incubator accuracy and setup
  • Temperature and humidity fluctuations

These are normal risks associated with shipped hatching eggs.

Shipping Protection

If Shipping Protection is purchased at checkout, we will replace eggs one time only.  The buyer will be responsible for the shipping expense.

Extra Eggs

We may include extra eggs when available. Extras are not guaranteed.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for poor hatch rates.

Chicks

All chicks leave our farm alive, active, and in good condition.

Shipping Conditions

We pack our chicks with care and intention. Each shipment includes gro-gel for hydration and heat packs when needed to help support chicks during transit.

These measures help reduce stress and improve survival during normal shipping conditions, but they are not a guarantee against delays or carrier issues.

Once chicks leave our farm, they are in the hands of the postal service.

Shipping delays, mishandling, and delivery conditions are outside our control.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that shipping live animals carries inherent risk, especially when delays occur.

Delays in transit significantly increase risk to chick health and survival.

Shipping Responsibility

Once chicks are in the care of the postal service, we are not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays
  • Mishandling during transit
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures after delivery

Customers are responsible for:

  • Monitoring tracking information
  • Promptly retrieving chicks upon delivery
  • Providing proper brooder conditions immediately

Refunds and Exchanges

We do not offer refunds or exchanges after chicks have been shipped.

Extras

Extras may be included when available but are not guaranteed.

Cancellations and Prep Fee

When you place a chick order, we immediately begin preparing for your hatch. This includes selecting eggs, reserving incubator space, and committing time and resources specific to your order.

Cancellations made more than 3 weeks before your scheduled ship date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 3 weeks of your scheduled ship date will incur a $10 non-refundable prep fee.

This fee covers the labor, materials, and incubation prep already invested in your order.

This fee applies per order, not per chick or breed, and is added at checkout.

We are a preservation-based farm, not a mass-production facility. Once eggs are set, those chicks are already in motion.
