I set out to raise landrace chickens. To preserve genetics. To keep birds alive through Ohio winters and broody drama and raccoons with a grudge.
But somewhere between the frozen waterers, exploding broody poop, and a certain tiny rooster with zero sense of self-preservation, the Clancy Collection just... happened.
And honestly? I’ve never been prouder.
Meet the Rooster Behind the Name
Clancy is an Olandsk Dwarf. He’s maybe 1.5 pounds of feathers, rage, and misplaced confidence. But what he lacks in size, he makes up for in sheer presence.
He crows like he owns the barn. Bosses the hens like he pays rent.
And somehow manages to look smug even while running for his life from a slightly annoyed Hedemora hen.
He is, in every possible way, a tiny, judgmental king.
And over time, Clancy’s attitude became... contagious.

Because sometimes you need to say thank you—but also I’m losing it.
