The Happy Hen Seed & Mealworm Treat Square packs sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, and dried mealworms into one compressed square that gives your flock something to peck at besides each other.

Hang it in the coop or run and let them pick away at it throughout the day. It's especially handy when bad weather has everybody stuck closer to home and looking for something to do.

What's Inside

Made with simple ingredients chickens love:

• Black oil sunflower seeds
• Sunflower kernels
• Safflower seeds
• Dried mealworms
• Gelatin

Basically, it's a bunch of chicken favorites packed into one square. And yes, they'll probably go looking for the mealworms first.

How to Use

Place the treat square in a Happy Hen Treat Basket and hang it somewhere dry where your flock can comfortably reach it. They'll have to work at the square instead of gobbling everything down at once, which gives them a little extra pecking and foraging time.

You can also break the square into smaller pieces and scatter them through dry bedding to give your chickens something to hunt for.

Treats should make up no more than 10% of your flock's total diet. Always provide fresh, clean water and a complete, balanced poultry feed.
