Bee-Tastic Chicken Treat Mix – Mealworm & Honey Enrichment

Choose a Size

Sticky fingers not included—but your chickens will act like it’s candy. Bee-Tastic is a loose-packed treat mix made with dried mealworms and a light honey glaze. Sprinkle it in bedding, tuck it into forage mats, or toss it in the run to encourage natural pecking and scratching. Use it as an enrichment tool—not a daily snack—and get ready for your flock to behave like you brought the party.

Who It’s For

Bored winter flocks, coop-bound birds on foul-weather days, keepers who want calmer energy during chores, and anyone training young foragers to work for their goodies instead of mugging your pockets.

What’s Inside / Specs

  • Loose treat mix (easy to scatter)

  • Net weight: 7 oz or 1.5 lb in a resealable bag

  • Ingredients: dried black soldier fly larvae (BSFL), dried mealworms, wheat berries, basil, rose petals, bee pollen granules

  • Purpose: foraging enrichment and boredom relief—not a complete feed

How to Use / What to Expect

  • Scatter small amounts (think a tablespoon or two per 5 birds) in bedding or the run 2–3× per week.

  • Hide in forage mats or enrichment feeders to extend the hunt.

  • Follow the 90/10 rule: 90% balanced feed, ≤10% treats.

  • Clean up overnight leftovers to avoid attracting pests.

  • Supervise if you have assertive birds—sharing is theoretically possible.

Care & Storage

Seal tightly between uses. Store cool, dry, and out of sun. Use within a reasonable time after opening. Not for human consumption. Contains bee pollen—avoid if anyone in the household is highly pollen-sensitive.

Shipping & Timing

Ships with your farm-supply order. If your cart also includes print-on-demand items, those will ship separately.
