Grab the exact gear you need, or get a CluckKit™ and let us do the thinking—either way, your flock wins.

Because mediocre gear doesn't survive the coop—or Clancy.

Chicken Treat Basket

Elevate snack time—literally. The Chicken Treat Basket keeps a suet-style treat square off the ground and at peck height, reducing waste while turning treats into enrichment. The vinyl-coated wire wipes clean, and the hanging chain lets you place it exactly where your flock loves to forage.

Who It’s For

Winter-bored flocks, rainy-day coop captives, kid-helpers who love enrichment chores, and any keeper who wants less mess and more purposeful pecking.

What’s Included / Specs

  • Holds: one suet-style treat square

  • Material: vinyl-coated wire basket

  • Hardware: hanging chain included

  • Dimensions: 5″ × 5″ × 1.9″

  • Weight: 0.2 lb (90 g)

  • Use: coop or covered run at peck height

How to Use / What to Expect

  1. Load a chicken-safe suet-style square (or a DIY compressed treat—no netting).

  2. Hang in a dry, covered spot at breast height so birds peck, not jump.

  3. Rotate locations to keep interest high and reduce pecking order drama.

  4. Follow the 90/10 rule: balanced feed is 90%; treats ≤10% of daily intake.

  5. Remove leftovers at dusk to deter pests.

Safety Notes

Offer grit when feeding whole grains/seeds. Avoid high-salt or questionable wild-bird cakes (onion/garlic, artificial dyes). Inspect basket regularly; retire if bent or sharp. Keep away from waterers to prevent soggy treats.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash with mild soap & warm water; rinse and dry fully. Vinyl coating helps resist rust—keep dry for longest life.

Shipping & Timing

Ships with your farm-supply order. If your cart also includes print-on-demand items, those will ship separately.
