Hen Pecked Mealworm Banquet Log — Hanging Poultry Treat

Bored hens peck each other. Busy hens peck treats.

This dense, hanging mealworm banquet log gives your flock something productive to work on, combining protein-rich mealworms with nuts, seeds, and fruit in a compact design that lasts longer than loose scratch. Hang it up and let them earn their snacks.

Who It’s For

Backyard chicken keepers, mixed flocks, enrichment lovers, winter coop boredom busters, and birds that need something better to do than redecorate each other.

What’s Inside / Specs

Handcrafted in New York State, this hanging treat log includes dried mealworms, cranberries, sunflower kernels, almonds, peanuts, cashews, and gelatin, formed into a compact block with an attached twine loop for easy hanging.

The dense design slows consumption, encourages movement, and provides extended enrichment compared to loose seed mixes.

How to Use

Hang in the coop or run at bird height and allow free pecking access. Always provide fresh water and a complete, balanced poultry feed alongside treats.

Treats should make up no more than 10% of the total diet.
