How to Use

Make Frozen Treat Rings

  1. Add 1–2 teaspoons of Coop Cooler™ Herbal Blend or a small handful of Bee-Tastic Treat Mix to 2–4 cups of water, low-sodium broth, applesauce, or yogurt.
  2. Pour into the included Bundt mold.
  3. Freeze until solid.
  4. Unmold and place in a shaded area during the hottest part of the day.

Support Hydration

  1. Mix Flock Fixer according to package directions.
  2. Refresh water often.
  3. Provide multiple water stations to reduce competition.

Add Enrichment

  • Scatter Bee-Tastic lightly in the run.
  • Add to forage trays or enrichment mats.
  • Rotate frozen herb rings and treat rings to keep birds interested.

Good to Know

  • Treats and enrichment should follow the 90/10 rule: no more than 10% of the diet.
  • Always provide cool, fresh water alongside any electrolyte supplement.
  • Offer plenty of shade and ventilation during hot weather.
  • Chicks and bantams may need smaller frozen pieces.
  • Provide grit when serving treats containing seeds or insects.
  • Signs of heat stress include panting, wings held away from the body, lethargy, and reduced activity. Severe symptoms require immediate cooling measures and veterinary guidance.
