Bawk'n Forth Chicken Swing

Choose a Style

Back and forth is for regular birds.

The Bawk'n Forth Chicken Swing gives your flock a moving perch to investigate, hop onto, and possibly regret for half a second when it moves underneath them.

Some chickens will climb aboard like they've been training for this their entire lives.

Others will stand nearby staring at it like you've installed a trap.

Give them time. Chickens have very strong opinions about new things, especially things that move.

A Perch With a Little More Going On

A regular perch just sits there.

This one doesn't.

Once a chicken hops aboard, the suspended wooden perch moves as she shifts her weight, giving curious birds something a little different to explore in the coop or run.

Will she swing gracefully through the air?

Maybe.

Will she wobble, flap dramatically, recover immediately, and pretend the whole thing went exactly according to plan?

Also maybe.

  • Approximately 10-inch wooden perch
  • Rope suspension
  • Hanging hook included
  • Natural wood finish
  • Adds a moving perch and enrichment option to the coop or run
  • Great for chickens, bantams, and other appropriately sized birds
  • Doesn't take up precious floor space

How to Use

Hang the Bawk'n Forth securely where your birds can comfortably hop on and off, with enough open space around it to swing without hitting walls, feeders, waterers, or other obstacles.

Start relatively low while your flock gets used to it. There's no need to put anybody on the swing yourself. Let them investigate it when they're ready.

Check the perch, rope, hook, and attachment point regularly for wear or damage. Remove it if anything becomes loose, frayed, or damaged.

Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed, then allow it to dry completely before putting it back into use.

Then let them Bawk'n Forth.

Grace is optional.
