How to Set It Up

1. Snap the perch onto the nesting box lid.
2. Snap the lid securely onto your 5-gallon bucket.
3. Mount the completed bucket nest securely in your coop.
4. Add clean nesting material or a nesting pad.
5. Wait for your hens to decide whether your carefully prepared bucket meets their extremely specific real estate requirements.

For larger breeds, the entrance opening can be increased from 6" to 8".

That's it.
