Because mediocre gear doesn't survive the coop—or Clancy.

Chicken Treat Ball Toy

Turn pecking into a purpose. The Chicken Treat Ball Toy gives your flock a rolling jackpot: fill it with favorite feed or dry treats and let the birds peck, nudge, and chase for rewards. It’s small, sturdy, and sized for real-life runs—an easy way to encourage natural foraging, burn off coop energy, and keep minds (and beaks) busy.

Who It’s For

Winter-bound flocks, rainy-day coop captives, pullets learning to forage, and any keeper who’d rather see birds working a puzzle than working your mulch bed.

What’s Included / Specs

  • Size: 3″ × 2.5″

  • Treat opening: 1/2″ × 3/4″ (dispenses small pellets, BSFL, mealworms, grains)

  • Use: indoor runs, covered pens, or any dry, level surface

  • Build: durable, easy-clean construction made for pecking and pushing

How to Use / What to Expect

  1. Fill with small, dry goodies—pellets, BSFL, mealworms, scratch grains. Avoid powders or wet mash.

  2. Start easy: show birds how it works; a gentle roll gets the first treats out.

  3. Place on a flat area so it rolls, not buries.

  4. Rotate rewards to keep interest high.

  5. Follow the 90/10 rule: balanced feed is 90%; treats ≤10% of the daily ration.

  6. Big flock? Use two or more balls to reduce squabbles.
