Borotto® SIRIO Humidity Pump

Set it, forget it, and stop cracking lids. The Borotto® SIRIO Humidity Pump keeps your incubator at a steady target humidity without opening the unit, so temps stay stable and chicks stay happy. It’s external, accurate, and self-regulating—you give it an outside water source (bowl or bottle) and a target number, and it quietly handles the micro-adjustments for you.

Who It’s For

Hatchers who are done babysitting water channels, classrooms that need consistency, and small-to-large batch breeders who care more about stable conditions than staring at hygrometers.

What’s Included / Specs

  • Function: external automatic humidity control for incubators

  • Range & accuracy: adjustable 40%–75% RH, accuracy ±1%

  • Capacity: suitable for setups up to ~500 eggs (varies by incubator size)

  • Controls: LCD screen with simple two-button operation (actual vs. target)

  • Power draw: ~1 W average, max 5 W (energy efficient)

  • Size: 4.2″ L × 3.5″ W × 5″ H (compact footprint)

  • Compatibility: universal—works with any brand/size that accepts external humidity input/source

  • Origin & Warranty: Made in Italy; 2-year manufacturer warranty

How to Use / What to Expect

  1. Place the unit near your incubator on a stable surface.

  2. Add water source: place the intake line into a clean bowl or bottle of water (external source; not included).

  3. Connect to incubator per your incubator’s instructions for external humidity input/port.

  4. Set your target RH on the SIRIO (40–75%); the display shows actual vs. target.

  5. Let it regulate: the pump adds moisture as needed—no lid lifting, fewer swings.

  6. Note: SIRIO adds humidity; it does not dehumidify. Keep the room draft-free (65–75°F) for best stability.

Care & Maintenance

Use clean water (we recommend distilled to reduce mineral buildup). Keep lines clean; wipe the unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth—no harsh chemicals. Do not submerge. Keep cords tidy and away from curious chicks.

Safety & Good Habits

Electric + water = respect the setup. Route tubing and power cords safely. If you see unusual condensation or spikes/drops, check seals, ambient room conditions, and water quality.

Shipping & Timing

Ships with your farm-supply order. (If your cart also includes print-on-demand items, those will ship separately.)
