Aspen Egg Boost 3lb Top-Dress for Layers

Want yolks that look like the sun and birds that stay on their A-game? Aspen Egg Boost is a premium top-dress supplement built for laying hens. It combines omega-3-rich flax, vitamin D3, and active probiotics to support egg quality, shell strength, and gut health—with marigold (tagetes) extract in the mix to help promote those deeper golden yolks. Sprinkle it over their regular ration and watch your breakfast (and your flock) level up.

Who It’s For

Backyard keepers who want better-looking, better-balanced eggs; small flock owners dialing in nutrition; and yes—chicken keepers who cannot stop talking about their chickens (and don’t plan to).

What It Does (Why It Works)

  • Boosts egg quality support: Omega-3s + vitamin D3 help support the nutritional profile of eggs.

  • Happy guts, steadier birds: Probiotics support a healthy digestive tract and overall resilience.

  • Color you can brag about: Tagetes (marigold) extract helps promote richly hued yolks.

  • Easy top-dress: Goes over the feed you already use—no complicated switching.

Ingredients

Stabilized ground flaxseed, dried distillers grains with solubles, plant protein products, processed grain by-products, mineral oil, tagetes (Aztec marigold) extract, Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast, calcium carbonate, ascorbic acid, roughage products.

Egg Booster gave a boost

I completed one full bag of Egg Booster with my 25 hens. We live in NW WI and have had bouts of very cold weather, lows in the negative teens and twentys for a some of the days. Despite the cold their laying stayed steady and even increased slightly some days which I was pleasantly surprised to see. The hens liked the taste of it as I tried it in a small cup alone when a few of them to see if they would eat it as is and there was no hesitation in trying it and continuing to want to get more of it. Based on my first bag of this product I would highly recommend using it, especially when laying slows down in late fall and winter.

Nice supplement

Have not given the supplement long enough to speak on egg production and quality but so far the birds eat it well. I will say if you want them to consume more, mix it into their daily feed instead of feeding free choice. My free range flock gets a couple bites and moves on so the bag has lasted a long time.
