1.6 Quart Classic Chick Waterer

Keep hydration simple and drama-free. This 1.6-quart chick waterer holds enough for brooder life without turning the bedding into a swamp. The push-fit top makes refills fast, while the coned center discourages roosting (and, uh, “decorating”) on the lid. A shallow, narrow-lip tray suits tiny beaks and bodies—easy access, lower drowning risk. No gimmicks—just reliable, easy-clean gear that supports healthy drinking from day one.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Chick-safe tray: Shallow, narrow rim = easy reach, less plunging.

  • Cleaner by design: Anti-roost cone helps keep the drink zone, well, drinkable.

  • Fast refills: Push-fit reservoir top; invert and go.

  • Brooder-ready: Works indoors or in protected outdoor set-ups.

At-a-Glance

  • Capacity: 1.6 qt / ~51 oz

  • Top: Push-fit with anti-roost cone

  • Base: Low-profile with narrow drinking lip

How to Use

  1. Rinse & fill: Rinse before first use. Fill the top, seat firmly, invert to lock.

  2. Place smart: Set on a 1–2″ riser (brick/low stand) to keep bedding out; place near the warm edge of the brooder, not under the heat source.

  3. Daily rhythm: Refresh at least once daily (twice in heat). Quick scrub if you spot biofilm.

  4. Extra-cautious days 1–3: Optional ring of clean pebbles/marbles in the tray to reduce depth further.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash with mild soap or a dilute white-vinegar rinse; rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals that leave residue. In sunny spots, keep out of direct blazing sun to slow algae. Store dry between batches.

Shipping & Timing

Ships with your farm-supply order. If your cart includes print-on-demand gear, those items ship separately.
