Using Your Feeder

Place the feeder on a stable, level surface and keep the feeding tray clear of bedding and debris.

For adult chickens, raising the feeder so the tray is roughly around back height can help reduce scratching and feed being tossed from the tray. Make sure every bird in the flock can comfortably reach the feed.

Check regularly for damp or spoiled feed, especially in humid conditions or if the feeder is used where moisture can reach it.

Empty and wash the feeder with mild soap and water as needed, then allow it to dry completely before adding fresh feed.
