The Hen Den Essentials CluckKit™ helps you create a nesting area your hens will actually want to use. From a sturdy nesting box and cushioned nesting pads to egg cleaning supplies, nutritional support, and a wire basket for gathering your daily haul, everything works together to make egg collection a whole lot easier and a whole lot cleaner.

• Little Giant Nesting Box – A durable, wall-mountable nesting box with ventilation and a perch that's built for everyday chicken keeping. Approx. 26.5" L × 15.9" W × 19.8" H. Mounts on standard 16" on-center studs.
• Custom Nesting Herb Blend – A light aromatic blend that helps keep nesting boxes smelling fresh while adding enrichment. (For scent and enrichment only. Not a parasite treatment.)

• Manna Pro Egg Cleanser (16 oz) – An enzyme-based egg wash for the eggs that actually need cleaning.
• Durvet Layer Boost with Omega-3 – A water-soluble supplement with vitamins, electrolytes, omega-3s, enzymes, marigold, and Vitamin D3 to support laying hens and overall egg quality. Pair with free-choice oyster shell for calcium.
• Wire Egg Basket – A sturdy, ventilated basket that lets eggs air-dry after cleaning and makes daily collection a little more enjoyable.

How to Use

Build the Perfect Nest

• Mount the nesting box securely in a quiet area below the lowest roost.
• Add a Happy Hen Nesting Pad and lightly sprinkle the Custom Nesting Herb Blend.
• Keep nesting boxes clean and dry to encourage hens to lay where they're supposed to.

Collect and Clean

• Collect eggs two to three times each day.
• Brush off dry debris whenever possible to preserve the egg's natural bloom.
• If an egg needs washing, mix Manna Pro Egg Cleanser according to the label directions, wash, rinse, dry, and refrigerate.

Support Healthy Layers

• Mix Durvet Layer Boost according to the label directions and refresh drinking water daily.
• Offer free-choice oyster shell separately to provide the calcium laying hens need for strong shells.
• Continue providing a complete layer feed and plenty of fresh water.

Good to Know

• One nesting box is generally suitable for up to 4 laying hens. Larger flocks should provide additional nesting space.
• Place nesting boxes lower than your roosts to discourage sleeping in them.
• The herb blend is for freshness and enrichment only. It is not intended to control mites or other parasites.
• Washed eggs lose their protective bloom and should be refrigerated.
• Layer Boost supports overall nutrition but is not a calcium supplement. Always offer oyster shell free-choice.
