This screw-on poultry feeder base at least gives you a fighting chance.

Eight feeding openings give chicks and small poultry access to the feed while the ribbed design helps reduce scattering. Screw it onto the compatible 1 Quart Plastic Screw-On Jar, fill it with feed, and you've got a simple gravity feeder that's easy to refill and clean.

It can also be used with a compatible standard mason jar.

Need a Waterer Too?

The same compatible 1-quart jar can also be paired with our Plastic Chick Waterer Screw-On Base to create a separate gravity waterer.

Grab the feeder base, the waterer base, or both depending on what you need for your brooder or flock. Bases and jars are sold separately.

Using Your Feeder

Fill your compatible jar with the appropriate poultry feed, screw the feeder base securely onto the jar, then carefully turn the assembled feeder upright.

Place it on a stable, level surface where your birds can comfortably reach the feeding openings.

Check it regularly for damp or soiled feed and wash the base with mild soap and water as needed. Allow it to dry completely before refilling.
