Baby chicks have an impressive ability to get feed absolutely everywhere.
This flip-top chick feeder at least makes them work a little harder at it.
The long, covered design gives chicks access to feed through 28 openings while helping keep tiny feet out of the food. A hinged top flips open when it's time to refill or clean it, then closes back over the trough for feeding.

The flip-top lid opens so you can fill the entire trough without trying to funnel feed through tiny openings.
When it's cleaning time, open it back up for access to the inside of the feeder.
The feeder is made from high-density polypropylene and comes in Red, Yellow, Green, or Purple, because apparently even the chick feeder gets wardrobe options.
Fill the trough with an appropriate complete chick feed and close the top securely before placing it in the brooder.
Keep the feeder stable and positioned where chicks can comfortably reach the openings. As they grow, you can adjust its placement or elevation to help keep bedding and debris out without making the feed difficult to reach.
Check it regularly for damp or soiled feed and clean with mild soap and water as needed. Allow it to dry before refilling.
