Durvet® No Pick'n® for Chickens is an easy-to-use hydrogel spray made to help reduce picking and cannibalism in chickens. The formula contains tea tree oil and other essential oils and can be applied when feather picking is first noticed or to newly introduced birds as a preventative measure.

Because once the flock decides somebody's feathers are everybody's business, it's better to intervene early.

Help Discourage Chicken Pecking & Picking

No Pick'n® is made specifically for external use on chickens. Its hydrogel spray formula makes it easy to apply to the feathered areas commonly targeted during picking.

Durvet recommends starting at the tail feathers and working up the back toward the neck, while avoiding the head, comb, wattles, and eyes.

It's particularly useful when:

• Feather picking is first noticed
• Chickens are picking or pecking one another
• Cannibalistic behavior has developed
• New birds are being introduced to the flock

No Pick'n® can help discourage the behavior, but don't stop there. Persistent feather picking can have an underlying cause, so check your flock management, nutrition, space, injuries, parasites, and social dynamics too.

Ingredients

Deionized Water, Polysorbate-20, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Glycerin, Sodium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Denatonium Benzoate, Capsicum annuum Fruit Extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate.

How to Use

Shake well before using.

Begin by applying No Pick'n® to the tail feathers, then continue working up the back toward the neck.

Avoid contact with the head, comb, wattles, eyes, and other mucous membranes. For best results, Durvet recommends applying the product when pecking is first noticed. It may also be applied to birds newly introduced to the flock as a preventative measure.

Use only as directed and in a well-ventilated area. Wear eye protection during application and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water afterward.

If the product gets into the eyes or mucous membranes, flush thoroughly with cold water for 15 minutes. For external animal use only. Keep out of reach of children. Not for human use.

And remember, spraying the picked chicken doesn't fix whatever started the picking.
