Manna Pro Egg Cleanser gives you a simple way to clean dirt and surface residue from eggs without bleach or harsh sanitizers. Keep it around for those eggs that need a little help before heading to the refrigerator or incubator.

It cleans. It does not disinfect or sterilize eggs.

• Citric acid
• Potassium sorbate as a preservative

How to Use

1. Mix 2 capfuls with 1 gallon of fresh, warm water.
2. Soak eggs for 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Use a clean white cloth or brush to gently remove soil.
4. Rinse thoroughly and refrigerate promptly after washing.
5. Discard the used solution after each batch.

Want to make a stock solution ahead of time? Mix 8 capfuls with 1 gallon of fresh water. When you're ready to use it, combine 1 quart of stock solution with 3 quarts of fresh, warm water.

Good to Know

Use water warmer than the eggs, not cooler, and don't go crazy scrubbing the shell. Clean your cloth or brush between batches, and refrigerate washed table eggs promptly.

For incubation, remember that cleaning an egg doesn't magically erase everything that's happened to it. Egg condition and handling still matter once it goes into the incubator.

Mostly, this is just a handy bottle to have around when the nest box loses its mind.
