Get the Feeder Off the Floor

Hanging the feeder helps keep the trough above loose bedding and gives you control over its height. Start where your birds can comfortably reach the feed, then raise it as they grow.

Proper positioning can also help reduce the amount of feed chickens scoop and fling out while eating.

Use & Care

Hang the feeder securely at a comfortable feeding height for your birds. Adjust it upward as they grow while making sure everyone can still easily access the trough.

Use in a dry, protected area and check feed regularly for moisture, mold, or contamination.

Empty and clean the feeder as needed with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before adding fresh feed. Replace the feeder if the plastic or hanging hardware becomes damaged.
