Vitamin & Electrolyte Support for Chickens

This concentrated powder provides electrolytes including sodium and potassium along with vitamins A, D3, E, B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, and vitamin K activity.

Durvet specifically formulates it for use as either a water or feed additive when animals are experiencing conditions of stress. The powder is highly soluble, making it easy to prepare according to the package directions.

How to Use

For drinking water, dissolve ½ of the 8 oz package in 55 gallons of water or the entire package in 110 gallons. Mix a fresh solution daily.

For automatic proportioners delivering one ounce of stock solution per gallon of drinking water, dissolve one 8 oz package in one gallon of stock solution.

When using as a feed additive, thoroughly mix one 8 oz package per ton of complete ration containing regular levels of fortification.

Always follow the directions on the current package label.

And yes, those are some big-ass mixing quantities. This is the 8 oz concentrated multi-species package, not the little one-gallon poultry packet. Math before electrolytes. Nobody wants to accidentally make chicken Gatorade concentrate.

Storage & Safety

Store the package in a cool, dry area below 75°F. For animal use only and not for human consumption. Keep the package sealed and follow all current label directions.

Vitamins and electrolytes are nutritional support, not a treatment for disease. If a chicken is showing signs of illness, severe heat stress, significant dehydration, or isn't drinking, don't assume an electrolyte supplement fixes the underlying problem.
