The 20" Apollo Trough Chicken Feeder gives multiple birds access to feed at the same time with a long, open feeding trough that holds up to 5 pounds of dry feed.
No complicated parts. No special training.
Just put food in the long thing and release the chickens.
At 20 inches long, the Apollo gives several birds room along the trough instead of making everybody crowd around one small feeding spot.
Its low-profile design makes feed easy to access, and you can place the feeder on a stable platform as needed to keep it at a comfortable height for your birds and help reduce feed getting scratched or billed out.
It's a simple setup that works especially well in grow-out pens, backyard coops, and other places where several hungry chickens tend to arrive for dinner at exactly the same time.
Which is every place containing chickens.
Fill with dry poultry feed and place the feeder on a stable, level surface in a protected area.
Position it where your birds can comfortably reach the feed. If you elevate the trough, make sure the platform is sturdy and the feeder can't easily shift or tip while everybody piles in for dinner.
Check feed regularly for moisture, contamination, or accumulated fines. Empty and clean the trough as needed with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before refilling.
There is room at the table.
Whether your chickens choose to behave like civilized dinner guests is entirely up to them.
We wouldn't bet on it.
