Stainless Steel Chicken Treat Skewer

Apparently we're making chicken kebabs now.

The Stainless Steel Chicken Treat Skewer turns cabbage, zucchini, apple slices, leafy greens, and other flock-friendly produce into a hanging snack your chickens can peck at instead of immediately stomping into the dirt.

Thread it. Hang it. Release the chickens.

That's pretty much the entire operation.

Put Their Snacks on a Stick

The 9-inch stainless steel skewer gives you plenty of room to stack pieces of produce, while the larger ends help keep everything from sliding straight off.

Hang it vertically or horizontally where your flock can comfortably reach it and let everybody work on the snacks one bite at a time.

The produce stays up off the ground, your chickens get something different to peck at, and you get to tell people you made your chickens a kebab.

Everybody wins.

  • Reusable

How to Use

Thread flock-friendly fruits, vegetables, or greens onto the skewer, then hang it securely where your birds can comfortably reach the food.

Try cabbage, zucchini, apple pieces, leafy greens, or whatever other chicken-friendly produce happens to be taking up space in your refrigerator.

Remove uneaten fresh food before it spoils, and check the skewer and hanging hardware regularly for damage.

Wash with warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher, then dry thoroughly before storing.

Like all treats, this is the fun stuff, not dinner. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your flock's diet, with a complete, balanced poultry feed doing the heavy lifting and fresh water always available.

Congratulations.

You have officially reached the point in chicken keeping where you're serving produce on skewers.

It happens to the best of us.
