Scratchercise Chicken Treat is a mix of grains, seeds, peas, and dried mealworms made for scattering around the run so your flock can scratch, peck, hunt, and pretend they're doing something productive.

Think of it as chicken exercise with snacks.

Which, frankly, is the only kind of exercise most of us are interested in.

Scatter. Scratch. Snack. Repeat.

Milo, wheat, peas, safflower, black oil sunflower seeds, and dried mealworms give your chickens different little things to hunt down instead of finding their entire treat pile conveniently located in one spot.

Toss some across a clean, dry area and let them get to work scratching around for their favorites.

Will anybody actually burn enough calories to justify the snacks?

How to Serve

Scatter Scratchercise around the run or another clean, dry area where your flock can scratch and search for it. You can also add some to an appropriate treat toy or offer it in a shallow dish when the weather has turned the run into a mud pit.

Reseal after use and store somewhere cool and dry.

Like all treats, this is the fun stuff, not dinner. Treats should make up no more than 10% of your flock's diet, with a complete, balanced poultry feed doing the heavy lifting and fresh water always available.
