DOUBLE-TUF® Poultry Feeder with Legs

Choose a Size

You bought the feed for the chickens.

The chickens apparently believe the floor deserves some too.

The DOUBLE-TUF® Poultry Feeder is designed to make feeding a bigger flock a little less ridiculous. Choose a 17.5 lb or 26 lb capacity, fill the hopper, snap on the lid, and let gravity handle the rest.

Removable legs raise the feeding tray above the ground, while the built-in feed saver ring helps keep chickens from flinging quite as much of their expensive dinner into the bedding.

Because chicken feed costs enough already.

The floor does not need a serving.

Pick the Size That Fits Your Flock

Choose between two feed capacities depending on your flock, setup, and how often you want to refill.

The 17.5 lb feeder gives you plenty of hopper capacity without taking up as much room.

The 26 lb feeder holds more feed for larger flocks or keepers who would prefer not to visit the feed bin quite so often.

Either way, you're getting the same basic DOUBLE-TUF design. You're just choosing how much chicken dinner you'd like to haul at once.

Keep Dinner Out of the Bedding

The removable legs elevate the feeding tray, helping keep it above loose bedding, dirt, and some of the debris chickens spend all day enthusiastically rearranging.

Around the trough, an integrated feed saver ring is designed to help reduce billing and scattering as birds eat.

Will a determined chicken still find a creative way to make a mess?

Of course.

We're selling feeders, not miracles.

How to Use

Assemble the feeder according to the manufacturer's instructions and place it on a stable, level surface.

Install the removable legs when you want the trough elevated above the surrounding ground or bedding. Position the feeder so your birds can comfortably reach the trough without having to climb into it.

Fill the hopper with appropriate poultry feed and securely replace the lid. Check the feeder regularly and refill as needed.

For best results, keep the feeder in a dry, sheltered location and discard any feed that becomes wet, moldy, spoiled, or contaminated.

Cleaning & Care

Empty old feed and debris as needed. Wash the feeder with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before adding fresh feed.

Regularly inspect the hopper, lid, legs, handle, and feed saver ring for damage.

Then fill it back up and watch your chickens immediately behave as though nobody has fed them in weeks.

Some things no feeder can fix.
