Setup (2-Minute Start)

1. Set height: adjust so the plate just brushes chick backs.

2. Create a cool zone: leave open space so birds can move away if warm.

3. Watch the cues:

   • Cold: loud peeping, huddled tight—lower the plate.

   • Hot: spread out, panting—raise the plate.

   • Just right: quiet chicks, napping with backs touching the plate.

Using a Controller (Optional)

Works with a Heating Plate Temperature Controller for fine-tuning. Direct-plug = red light solid. With controller = blinking (slow at lower settings, faster at higher).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug. Let cool. Wipe by hand with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid submerging electrical parts. The cover (sold separately) helps keep the plate cleaner by discouraging perching.
