Bred to withstand Sweden’s harsh winters, they are exceptionally cold-hardy, making them a perfect choice for northern climates. Country of Origin: Sweden – A rare landrace with centuries of adaptation.
Size: Hens ~4 lbs, Roosters ~5 lbs – Sturdy and well-built.
Egg Production: ~150 creamy white to beige eggs per year, sometimes speckled.
Temperament: Calm, friendly, and well-suited for confinement—a great homestead bird.
Broodiness: Often broody and known for being excellent mothers.
Climate Adaptation: Extremely cold-hardy, though they may struggle in high heat.

Expertly Packed for Safe Arrival – Each egg is carefully wrapped in soft tissue, placed in a secure carton, and cushioned with biodegradable packing materials, OR packed with a foam egg shipper and double boxed.
Tracked & Insured Shipping – Sent via USPS Priority Insured or Express. A $15 shipping surcharge applies due to USPS policy updates.
Please leave a note at checkout if you need your package held at the post office for pick up. We do not ship to Hawaii at this time.
