The translucent reservoir also lets you check the water level without taking the whole thing apart just to discover they drank more than you thought they did.

Raised When You Want It

Use the removable legs to elevate the waterer and help keep bedding, dirt, and other coop debris out of the drinking trough.

Prefer it lower? Remove the legs.

That flexibility makes it easier to set up the waterer for your birds and your particular coop or run instead of being stuck with one height.

Using Your Waterer

Place the waterer on a firm, level surface where your flock can comfortably reach it.

Check the water daily and refill with fresh, clean water as needed. Wash the reservoir and trough regularly with mild soap and water, paying particular attention to any film or buildup.

During freezing weather, use an appropriate cold-weather watering setup rather than allowing water to freeze inside the plastic waterer.
