Hot pepper and bittering ingredients make treated feathers taste terrible, helping break the picking habit before the targeted bird ends up with raw, exposed skin.

How to Use

Shake well and set the nozzle to spray. Apply a small amount to the feathers, beginning at the tail and working up the back toward the neck.

Apply to feathers only. Avoid skin, especially areas that are already red or raw, as well as the head, comb, wattles, eyes, and mucous membranes.

Reapply as directed while working to correct whatever is causing the picking. Persistent feather picking can be related to flock dynamics, crowding, nutrition, parasites, injuries, or other management issues, so don't rely on the spray without looking for the reason behind the behavior.
