The VFeedr holds approximately 5 pounds of feed and uses gravity to keep feed available at the V-shaped opening as your flock eats.

An internal partition helps direct feed toward the eating area, while the enclosed hopper and smaller access point make it harder for chickens to climb into their food or really get their beaks in there and start digging.

Wall mounting gets the feeder up out of the bedding and lets you position it at a comfortable eating height for your birds.

Will a particularly ambitious chicken still find a way to make a mess?

Setup & Care

Mount the bracket securely to a solid surface and position the feeder at a comfortable eating height for your birds. Fill with dry poultry feed and make sure feed is moving freely into the feeding area.

When introducing the VFeedr, give your flock time to investigate it and make sure everyone is successfully eating from it before removing another familiar feeder.

If used outdoors, protect the feeding opening from direct rain and snow to help keep feed dry.

Check regularly for moisture, clumping, accumulated feed fines, or damage. Empty and clean as needed with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and allow the feeder to dry completely before refilling.
