Four Paws® Quick-Action Blood Stopper

5 items left

Minor cut, major drama?

Four Paws® Quick-Action Blood Stopper is a styptic powder made to help control minor bleeding from nail trimming, wing clipping, and small cuts. It's designed for birds as well as dogs and cats, making it a handy little addition to the chicken first aid kit.

Because a tiny nick on a chicken can produce a remarkably unreasonable amount of blood.

For the Little Bleeds That Look Like a Big Damn Deal

Quick-Action Blood Stopper coats the affected area to help control minor bleeding. It's especially useful to keep nearby when trimming chicken nails or doing other routine care where an accidental nick can happen.

And just to be clear, properly clipping mature wing feathers shouldn't normally cause bleeding. This is for the accidental blood feather or other minor nick, not because wing clipping is supposed to be a bloody activity.

Ferric Subsulfate, Diatomaceous Earth, Ottasept Extra, Aluminum Chloride, Bentonite, Copper Sulfate, Ammonium Chloride, Biopal Vro-20, Syloid.

A little bottle you hope you don't need very often.

But the first time you trim one nail a hair too short and suddenly your chicken looks like she's been involved in a crime scene, you'll be glad it's in the first aid kit.
