Rinse & Fill: Rinse before first use. Fill the top, seat it firmly, and invert to lock.
Place Smart: Set on a 1–2″ riser (brick or low stand) so bedding stays out but chicks still reach it. Keep near the warm edge of the brooder—not under the heat source.
Daily Rhythm: Refresh water at least once daily (twice in heat). Quick scrub if you see film; a bottle brush makes fast work of the tray.
