Heating Plate Temperature Controller

Sometimes the brooder is cold. Sometimes the room warms up. Sometimes the chicks grow overnight just to screw with whatever you had perfectly adjusted yesterday.

The Heating Plate Temperature Controller gives you more control over your chick brooder heat plate by letting you adjust its output from 20% to 100%. Plug it between the outlet and your compatible heating plate, turn the dial, and adjust the amount of heat as conditions change.

How to Use

Plug the controller into the outlet, then plug your compatible heating plate into the controller. Turn the dial to adjust the plate's heat output.

The heating plate's indicator light will blink slowly toward the lower settings and more quickly as output increases. At maximum output, the light stays on continuously.

Set the heating plate at the proper height so chicks can get close to the warm underside, then adjust the controller as needed based on room conditions and chick behavior. Raise the plate as the chicks grow.

That's it.

It's basically a volume knob for chick heat.

Except considerably less annoying than whatever the chicks are doing at 6 a.m.
