CluckKits™ Collection

We don’t hatch basic. Neither should you.

Every chick's a critic. Better make it a good one.

Grab the exact gear you need, or get a CluckKit™ and let us do the thinking—either way, your flock wins.

Because mediocre gear doesn't survive the coop—or Clancy.

It’s not just mugs and tees—it’s emotional support merch for poultry people.

Treat yourself. The chickens already did.

Sip Happens.

For days when "Cluck It" is your only plan.

Clamp On Brooder Reflector Heat Lamp

When temps drop and chicks (or sick birds) need focused heat, this Clamp-On Brooder Reflector Heat Lamp brings warmth—without skimping on safety features. You get a heat-resistant ceramic socket, double wire bulb guard, 10.5″ corrosion-resistant aluminum shade, and a scratch-resistant clamp with ball joint so you can aim heat exactly where it’s needed.

We prefer heat plates for routine brooding, but for drafty barns, quick spot-warming, or larger spaces, a well-secured lamp can be the right tool—used correctly.

What’s Included / Specs

  • Socket: heat-resistant ceramic (standard medium E26 base)

  • Guard: double wire bulb guard helps protect bulbs & birds

  • Shade: 10.5″ corrosion-resistant aluminum reflector

  • Mounting: scratch-resistant clamp with ball-joint for precise aiming

  • Cord/Plug: 6′ electrical cord with polarized plug

  • Hanger: built-in hanger loop for secondary support

Who It’s For

Keepers needing targeted, short-term heat (brooding in unheated spaces, hospital crates, or spot-warming drafty corners) and folks who will follow heat-lamp best practices to the letter.

How to Use / Placement

  • Height & angle: Aim so the warm zone covers part of the brooder/run, leaving a cool escape area.

  • Test first: Place a thermometer at chick height. Adjust until you hit age-appropriate temps and a comfortable gradient.

  • Bulb choice: Use a brooder/infrared heat bulb or ceramic heat emitter with an E26 base within the lamp’s wattage rating. (Skip household halogens.)

Critical Safety Guidelines (read me)

  • Two points of security: Use the clamp and a backup chain/wire on the built-in hanger. Never rely on the clamp alone.

  • Clearance: Keep bedding, feathers, cords, and plastics well clear of the bulb/guard and reflector. Maintain generous air space.

  • Solid mount: Attach only to stable, non-flammable surfaces; no flimsy edges.

  • Dry power: Plug directly into a GFCI-protected outlet. Avoid extension cords when possible.

  • Daily check: Inspect clamp tightness, chain, cord, and bulb. Replace any worn parts immediately.

  • Adjust cold: Unplug before repositioning or swapping bulbs.

  • Monitor birds: Panting or crowding means the setup is too hot or too cold—reposition, raise/lower, or change bulb wattage accordingly.

Care

Wipe the shade and guard with a dry or slightly damp cloth; keep the socket dry. Dust off reflector regularly. Store indoors when not in use.

Good to Know

For everyday brooding, our flock generally does best with Chick Brooder Heat Plates (safer + more natural heat). Lamps are great tools—they’re just not set-and-forget.
