Nothing will make your stomach drop faster than walking into the brooder and realizing one of your chicks just isn't acting like themselves.

Sometimes it's something simple. Sometimes it isn't. If coccidiosis is confirmed, having Corid® on hand means you can start treatment without waiting for shipping or making a frantic last-minute trip to the feed store.

Corid® 9.6% Oral Solution contains amprolium, a trusted treatment used to help control coccidiosis in poultry and other livestock. The liquid concentrate mixes easily into drinking water, making flock-wide treatment straightforward when it's needed.

Features

  • 16 fl oz bottle
  • Active ingredient: Amprolium 9.6%
  • Liquid concentrate for mixing into drinking water
  • Commonly used to treat coccidiosis in poultry and other livestock
  • Ideal for flock-wide administration through the drinking water

How to Use

  • Always read and follow the product label before use.
  • We strongly recommend working with a veterinarian whenever possible and confirming coccidiosis through a fecal examination before treatment. Several poultry diseases can look similar in the early stages, and treating the wrong condition can delay appropriate care.
  • Mix only the amount of medicated water needed for that day.
  • Provide treated water as the flock's only drinking water during treatment, following the label directions.
  • Clean and refill waterers daily.
  • Monitor birds closely for dehydration, lethargy, bloody droppings, or worsening symptoms.
  • Contact a poultry veterinarian if birds become severely ill or fail to improve.

Good to Know

  • Coccidiosis is most common in young chicks and birds under stress, but it can affect chickens of any age.
  • Good sanitation, dry bedding, proper ventilation, and avoiding overcrowding all help reduce coccidiosis pressure in the coop.
  • Keep Corid® stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals not intended for treatment.
