Day Old Swedish Black Hen Svart Höna Chicks

The Bohuslän-Dal's Svarthöna stands out with its striking black coloration that goes beyond feathers, encompassing the comb, wattle, beak, legs, and even the skin. It's as if they're adorned in an elegant, all-black ensemble. The hens flaunt a typically smooth feather structure, although you might come across some with a touch of fluffiness.

Our chicks are dispatched to their new homes at just one day old, unvaccinated and ready to grow with you. Each chick comes from our carefully maintained breed flock and you can see a glimpse in the photos.

Packed with personality, these chicks are sold straight run, meaning unsexed, adding a fun layer of anticipation to your flock. Our policy is to ship a minimum of 6 chicks, offering you a chance to start your own mini brood! They don't even all have to be Swedish Black Hen chicks - feel free to mix and match your flock!

Our chicks are primed for a safe journey to your home. We ship on Mondays via USPS Priority Express at a flat rate of $60 to make sure your new feathery friends don't spend the weekend at the post office. We serve only U.S. addresses and once our chicks leave our farm, their handling is beyond our control.

Everyone loves a surprise, and we aim to delight you by adding extras if they're available at the time of shipment. Although this isn't a guarantee, more often than not, you'll be chirping with joy at the sight of bonus chicks!

At Cluck It All Farms, we are active participants in the NPIP program, maintaining high biosecurity standards, and are avian influenza clean. Our NPIP certification is held under Tina Hines, participant number 31-1508.

While we maintain strict biosecurity measures that restrict public access to our flocks, we love sharing the joy of our farm with you. We're always happy to send photos, video chat, or answer any of your questions.

If you're local and prefer to pick up your chicks, we're more than willing to arrange a meet-up at a designated off-site location on the advertised ship date.
