Chickens Before Coffee™ Bundle
$64.25 USDThe only bundle built for chicken keepers who get pecked before they caffeinate.
Elevate snack time—literally. The Chicken Treat Basket keeps a suet-style treat square off the ground and at peck height, reducing waste while turning treats into enrichment. The vinyl-coated wire wipes clean, and the hanging chain lets you place it exactly where your flock loves to forage.
Winter-bored flocks, rainy-day coop captives, kid-helpers who love enrichment chores, and any keeper who wants less mess and more purposeful pecking.
Holds: one suet-style treat square
Material: vinyl-coated wire basket
Hardware: hanging chain included
Dimensions: 5″ × 5″ × 1.9″ (12.7 × 12.7 × 4.8 cm)
Weight: 0.2 lb (90 g)
Use: coop or covered run at peck height
Load a chicken-safe suet-style square (or a DIY compressed treat—no netting).
Hang in a dry, covered spot at breast height so birds peck, not jump.
Rotate locations to keep interest high and reduce pecking order drama.
Follow the 90/10 rule: balanced feed is 90%; treats ≤10% of daily intake.
Remove leftovers at dusk to deter pests.
Offer grit when feeding whole grains/seeds. Avoid high-salt or questionable wild-bird cakes (onion/garlic, artificial dyes). Inspect basket regularly; retire if bent or sharp. Keep away from waterers to prevent soggy treats.
Hand wash with mild soap & warm water; rinse and dry fully. Vinyl coating helps resist rust—keep dry for longest life.
Ships with your farm-supply order. (If your cart also includes print-on-demand items, those will ship separately.)
Clancy Crowed It
“It’s a snack swing. Chickens love it. Simple as that.”
I find I use this more in the summer when I have all the fresh garden greens & bountiful harvest. I have to be more intentional with using this product but it's a good basic. I used it in the chicken brooder this spring with some fresh greens and a fun source of entertainment!
