• Weight: Hens approximately 3.5 lbs, Cocks about 5 lbs.
• Egg Production: Produces 150-180 white to cream medium-sized eggs annually.
• Personality: Hardy, active, and independent—ideal for free-range environments.
• Broodiness: Occasionally broody; reliable mothers when they choose to sit.
• Climate Adaptation: Extremely hardy in cold conditions and moderately heat tolerant.

Conservation Status: These unique birds hold a threatened status with the Livestock Conservancy, cherished for their broodiness, foraging abilities, and laying prowess.

Natural Start: Each chick is shipped at 1 day old, unvaccinated, ensuring a natural, healthy beginning.

Shipping Commitment: We ship on Tuesdays to avoid weekend delays, using careful packaging to ensure safe transport, although handling post-shipment is beyond our control.
